We are passionate about creating places for children and teenagers to sing – places where they not only feel safe, but where they can meet other likeminded singers, and create some high quality work.

Whilst many children already sing in their school choir, singing in an ‘outside’ choir as well can give them more opportunities, and the chance to sing lots of music that they don’t sing in school. Other children don’t get the chance to sing in school (or are not as comfortable doing so), so we hope we can give them that outlet.

We are hoping to start all of our youth choirs in January 2026, giving us time to reach people who might be interested. If you’d like to be kept up-to-date with these plans, or you’d like to express your interest, then please sign up here.

These are the choirs that we plan to start in January 2026. If there’s something missing that you’d really like – if we get enough interest, then other groups might be a possibility.

Junior Choir – sydenham

The Junior Choir is for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 and gives children who love singing the chance to come together and meet other like-minded singers. Whether they want to come with friends from school, or meet others from different schools, they can all come together every week to do something they love.

We sing a range of music covering all sorts of styles, as well as lots of music that is written especially for children’s choirs. We have high standards – but don’t audition. We just ask that children are willing to work together in a group, and be open to singing anything!

senior choir – sydenham

The Senior Choir is for upper voices in Years 7–11. This choir sings more regularly in parts, and is open to girls and boys (with unchanged voices) and offers an inclusive space for all young people. The group doesn’t audition, but loves to welcome anyone who likes to sing.

We love to sing a wide range of music, covering musicals, pop, folk and classical. The choir gives everyone the chance to make other like-minded friends, singing as they go.

Youth Choir – Orpington

Our Orpington Youth Choir is open to children in years 5 – 8. This unusual age range gives children who love singing the chance to come together and meet other like-minded singers. Whether they want to stay together with friends as they progress to secondary school, or meet others from different schools, these singers can all come together every week to do something they love.
