ChoirS

There’s a choir somewhere for everyone who wants to sing (or there should be!)

At Singsmiths we have 3 adult community choirs, two in the evening, and one in the daytime, a year 6/7 choir and 2 primary school choirs, and all of them are non-auditioned choirs that are open to anyone who would like to join.  We also have an auditioned adult choir for those who already have some experience and are looking for a new challenge.

With the un-auditioned choirs, whilst we do use music, and do sing some more complicated songs, the aim is to make that accessible to anyone who would like to join. Rehearsals are run with humour (we hope), and no one is made to feel like they shouldn’t be there.

boosts wellbeing & Confidence

Singing releases endorphins and reduces stress — it’s proven to lift your mood and build self-esteem in a supportive environment.

Builds Community & Connection

Choirs foster real friendships and a sense of belonging. Singing in harmony creates a powerful bond between people of all backgrounds.

Improves Musical & Vocal Skills

Regular rehearsals develop your musical ear, rhythm, pitch, and vocal technique — all while having fun and making beautiful music together.
