singsmiths chamber choir

Singsmiths Chamber Choir is a new auditioned upper-voice ensemble for adults (18+) who love expressive, contemporary classical music and refined chamber-choir singing. Led by conductor Stephanie Seeney, the group will focus on clarity, blend, and musical detail, performing modern choral repertoire with artistry and warmth.

The Chamber Choir will focus on repertoire by living composers (although not exclusively), such as Sarah Quartel, Winnie Bruckner and Eric Whitacre. Some lighter music will also be included.

We’re looking for confident soprano and alto singers who:
• read music comfortably
• have secure tuning and good vocal control
• enjoy working toward a polished, balanced ensemble sound
• want to be part of a friendly, committed musical community

Rehearsals & Fees

Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings in Bromley Common, beginning January 2026.
The choir fee is £22.50 per month (or £90 per term). Additionally, singers will need to purchase some music (some will be provided).

A Choir for Singers Who Want Something More

This ensemble offers a thoughtful, supportive environment where each singer contributes to a shared sound. Whether you’re drawn to clean contemporary tone, atmospheric modern works, or intricate chamber textures, Singsmiths Chamber Choir is a place to grow, create, and connect.

If you’re ready to be part of our inaugural season, we’d love to hear from you.

Auditions on Wed 17th December and Wed 7th Jan. Please still apply if you can’t make those dates. Venue for auditions TBC.
